Janice E. Halstead Reges, 67, of Hilliards died at 9 a.m. Saturday at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Butler, the daughter of Samuel D. and Gertrude Smith Barnes.

Mrs. Reges was a Protestant.

She is survived by two daughters, Stacy Cubbage of Hilliards and Sherry Dotterer of Rimersburg; two sons, Robert Halstead and Randy Halstead, both of Hilliards; five grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Bowser and Dorothy Tebay, both of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, a grandson and a brother.

<B>REGES —</B> A memorial service for Janice E. Halstead Reges, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at <B>H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME,</B> Main Street, Route 38, Eau Claire, with the Rev. Patricia Strella, a family member, officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
