Rhoads helps Rockets rally past Fairview
Karly Rhoads scored 26 points to help spearhead the Slippery Rock girls basketball team to a dramatic 56-52 overtime victory over Fairview in the first round of the Union City Tournament Thursday.
The Rockets (6-4) trailed 20-2 after the first quarter before chipping away, outscoring Fairview 22-6 in the fourth frame to send the game into overtime.
Kourtney Rhoads added 11 points for Slippery Rock.
