Newcaster, Wierl
Jennifer Ann Newcaster and Paul Wierl, both of Winthrop, Mass., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. Areception followed at The Mansion in Penn Township.
The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Cervenka of Freedom and Nicholas Newcaster of Butler. The mother of the bridegroom is Gerda Wierl of Munich, Germany.
The matron of honor was Stacey Tearne of Vienna, Va., and the maid of honor was Michele Capots of Alexandria, Va. Bridesmaids included Brandi Rock of Butler, Marci McClelland of Gibsonia and Amy Thompson of Rutland, Vt. The flower girls were Megan Matthis and Hope Matthis, both of Pittsburgh.
Serving the bridegroom as best men were Robert Pelzl of Windach, Germany, and Markus Wierl of Peiting, Germany. Ushers included Michael Gonski of West Bridgewater, Mass.; Nicholas Newcaster II of Mars; and Sean Horan of Worcester, Mass. The ring bearer was Matthew McClellan of Hudson, Ohio.
The bride graduated in 1990 from Butler High School and in 1994 from Bethany College. She is employed by Massachusetts Technology Collaborative in Westborough, Mass.
The bridegroom is a 1987 graduate of Schondorf High School in Schondorf, Germany. He also attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology and earned a master's degree in engineering management from Tufts University. He works for TÜV SÜD America in Peabody, Mass.
Following a honeymoon trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Winthrop.
