John Francis Cricks

John Francis Cricks, 80, of Middlesex Township died Sunday evening at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Pittsburgh, April 6, 1927, he was the son of John Francis and Clara Ashley Cricks.

He retired as a roofer from Union Local 37 in Pittsburgh, where he worked for 65 years.

Surviving are his companion and friend for the past five years, Betty Campbell; a son, Alvin Cricks and his wife, Maggie, of Cornville, Ariz.; a daughter, Linda Thies and her husband, John, of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

<B>CRICKS</B> — Friends of John Francis Cricks, who died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, where a service will be held at 7 p.m. prior to visitation.
