Kenneth C. Gould, 59, of Butler died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born March 31, 1948, in Butler, he was the son of the late Nora Gould Whipkey and the stepson of the late Dale "Zeke" Whipkey.

He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam.

Mr. Gould retired as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician for the Butler School District.

He is survived by his former wife, Debra J. Double Gould of Butler; a son and his companion, Craig L. Gould and Nancey Burk of Butler; six grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Makenzie, Damon, Chaz and Derrick; a sister, Mrs. Timothy (Lacey) Richardson of Volant; a brother, Dale "Jake" Whipkey Jr. of Butler; and family friend, Laura Isenberg of Butler.

<B>GOULD </B>— Services and burial for Kenneth C. Gould, who died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, were private. Arrangements were handled by the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury.
