Michael R. "Wirehead" Bigler, 56, of Middlesex Township died Tuesday morning at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, July 1, 1951, he was the son of Kelly and Mildred Bigler Owens.

He was a truck driver for Vogel Disposal in Mars and belonged to the Teamster's Union. He was a social member of the Mars VFW Post 7505.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Nichols Bigler, whom he married Oct. 4, 1974; a son, Raymond M. Bigler and his wife, Dawn, of Allison Park; a daughter, Tina Bruce and her husband, Brian, of Middlesex Township; two sisters, Colleen Owens Schriver of Middlesex Township and Sandy Owens Brooks of Illinois; a brother, Carl Bigler, and a half-brother, Kelly Owens, both of Florida; and his grandchildren, Allison, Nicholas, Dylan, Nathan and Rachael.

<B>BIGLER</B> — Friends of Michael R. "Wirehead" Bigler, who died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in North Park.Memorials may be made to The Lighthouse Foundation, 1302 E.
