Randall E. Croyle, Sr.
Randall E. Croyle, Sr., 72, of Seneca, formerly of Karns City, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday at his home.
Born Sept. 13, 1935, in Karns City, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Susie Elizabeth Roudebush Croyle.
He served in the Army National Guard until his honorable discharge in October 1962. He was a member of the Oil City Moose Club, the P&A Club of Oil City and a Masonic member of the Edinburgh Lodge of Knox.
Mr. Croyle was Protestant. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Croyle was a welder and a filter house operator at Penreco of Karns City.He was married Jan. 15, 2000, in Oil City to Mary Ann Womer Baker, who survives.Also surviving are seven children, Valinda Custer and her husband, Tom, of Waynesburg, Randall E. Croyle, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Clearwater, Fla., Danny Ray Croyle and his wife, Darla, of Karns City, Jeffrey Croyle of Muncie, Ind., Jeanette Shreffeler and her husband, Martin, of Nickleville, Susie Barger and her husband, Randy, of Petrolia and Lorrie Lassinger and her husband, Dan, of Cabot.Mr. Croyle's former spouse, Janice Sollinger Croyle of Chicora, also survives, in addition to two stepchildren, Edward L. Baker, III and his wife, Ann, of Oil City and Kenneth Baker of Tuscon, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph "Dick" Croyle of Niles, Ohio, and Cyril "Jay" Croyle of Karns City; one sister, Wanda Crispen of Sligo; two brothers-in-law, Robert and William Womer, both of Oil City, and a sister-in-law, Sue Raygor of Pittsburgh.He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two brothers.

Croyle, who died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday in the <B>Hile-Best Funeral Home</B>, 2781 Route 257, Seneca, Cranberry, Venango County.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.Mr. Croyle's daughter, the Rev.
