E. Louise McElroy
E. Louise McElroy, 80, of Cumberland Crossing, McCandless Township, died Saturday morning at UPMCPassavant Hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1927, in Carnegie, she was the daughter of Frank and Lila Moore Dowler.
Mrs.McElroy had been an office clerk for Lazarus Department Store in the North Hills.
She attended the Mars Alliance Church, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed participating in activities at Cumberland Crossing. She belonged to the Red Hat Society of North Hills.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Humphreys and her husband, Dan, of Evans City; two sons, William S. McElroy and his wife, Catherine, of Bakerstown, and Robert S. McElroy and his wife, Mary, of Zelienople; and grandsons, Ian, Scan and Bryan Humphreys.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. McElroy, whom she married Sept. 26, 1954, and who died Oct. 16, 1990; and by two sisters, Ruth Blakslee and Shirley Kessler.
