Betty M. DeBacco, 68, of Roseville in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 27, 1939, in Chicora, she was the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Georgia I. Lynch Ross.

She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and was an avid fan of sports on TV. Her two grandchildren were the greatest joys in her life.

Mrs. DeBacco had been a clerk at Nationwide Insurance in Butler. She also had been on the dietary staff at the Chicora Medical Center and was a cashier and greeter at Wal-Mart in Butler.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph D. DeBacco, whom she married Nov. 27, 1969; a son, Daniel P. DeBacco and his wife, Tanya, of Butler; a daughter, Gina Rajchel and her husband, Gregory, of Butler; five sisters, Janet Ross, Bonnie Travaglio, Sharon Hames and Sandy Buccini, all of Butler, and Maxine Becker of Copper Center, Alaska; and a brother, Tom Ross of Wilmington, Del. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Peyton and Sydney Rajchel of Butler.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Collier and Barb Ross, and two brothers, Albert S. "Sonny" and John D. "Jackie" Ross.

<B>DEBACCO</B> — Friends of Betty M. DeBacco, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>,<B> </B>105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed officiating. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Bradys Bend.A parish prayer service will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the East Brady Area Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 325, East Brady, PA. 16028.
