Minto

Catherine K. "Kady" Minto, 70, of Butler died at 6:50 p.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 3, 1937, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Michael D. Boswak and Margaret B. Wilt Zimmerman.

She was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Minto had volunteered at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center for years and was a member of the American Legion Post 117 Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Surviving are three sons, Michael F. and Joseph A. Minto, both of Butler, and Steven Minto and his wife, Lisa, of Chicora; two granddaughters, Emily and Sarah Minto of Chicora; four sisters, Lorretta Wathens of Maryland, Claudette Cambelle and Patrica Cambelle, both of Florida, and Diane Hildebrand of Butler; and two brothers, Michael Boswak of New Castle and Roy Zimmerman of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Mickey" Minto, who died in 1980; a brother, John Boswak, and a nephew, Scott Jacox.

<B>MINTO </B>— Friends of Catherine K. "Kady" Minto, who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating.
