Jane Marie Richards

Jane Marie Richards, 92, of Calvin Court in Bradford, formerly of Bruin, died Wednesday evening at the Bradford Pavilion after a period of failing health.

Born in Glassport, Allegheny County, June 3, 1915, she was a daughter of John and Mary Ann Maslowski Trepanowski.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Snows Roman Catholic Church of Parker and had attended Holy Cross High School in Glassport.

Surviving are a son and his wife, Richard D. "Rick" Richards and Marilyn C. of Bradford; three granddaughters, Alesia Richards-Sullivan and her husband, Kevin, and Nicole Richards-Audette and her husband, Scott, all of Winchester, Va., and Dr. Ericka Richards of Aspen, Colo.; six great-grandchildren, Emma Richards-Sullivan, Noah Richards-Sullivan, Molly Richards-Sullivan, Parker Richards-Audette, Addison Richards-Audette and Quinn Richards-Audette, all of Winchester; two sisters, Theresa Chockla of Manor and Martha Trepanowski of Glassport; a brother, Ray Trepanowski of Muncie, Ind.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Richard H. Richards, whom she married Aug. 24, 1938, in Ottawa, Iowa, died Nov. 12, 1992. She also was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

<B>RICHARDS</B> — There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial for Jane Marie Richards, who died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Parker, with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed as celebrant. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Parker, PA 16049.Arrangements are being handled by <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, Petrolia.
