Donald R. Keefer, 53, of Butler died at 6:25 a.m. Saturday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 23, 1954, in St. Marys, he was the son of the late Dick and Helen Walker Keefer.

He enjoyed working on old cars and had worked for Offstein's.

Surviving are his wife, Patty Powers; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Christina) Safranek, Heather Keefer and Tracy Powers, all of Butler; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John (Linda) Swartz of West Virginia, Mrs. Clint (Betty) McDowell of Tennessee and Mrs. Bruce (Marcie) Bailey of Ellwood City; and two brothers, David Keefer of North Washington and Ralph Card of New Castle.

<B>KEEFER </B>— Friends of Donald R. Keefer, who died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
