Phillip D. White
Phillip D. White, 62, of Butler, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunnyview Home after a short bout of lung cancer.
He was born March 5, 1945 in Beaver Falls, to the late Herbert Jackson White and Audrey Frances Melton White.
He was a member of Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department and was the fire police captain since 1998. He was a veteran of the Army, having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Brian (Teresa) Chapman of Lyndora, Donna White of Pittsburgh, and Jayla and Kathy White, both at home; his fiancee, Tammy J. Kudamik of Butler; two grandchildren, Zachary and Alisha White; one sister, Alberta Clark of New Galilee; one brother, Clem "Ed" White of Charleston, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol J. Casto White, who died Dec. 31, 2000; one brother, and one sister.

White, who died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Henry B.
