Virginia and Ralph Porter

Ralph and Virginia Porter of Portersville celebrated 70 years of marriage recently with a dinner for family and friends at the Kaufman House in Zelienople.

The former Virginia Moore married Porter March 12, 1938, at Grove City Presbyterian Church.

They have two children, Ralph Porter Jr. and E. Waneata VanKirk Rowlands, both of Portersville.

They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Porter retired in 1982 from Rexnord, where he worked as the manager of manufacturing. He now raises beef cattle on his family farm.

Mrs. Porter is a homemaker. She enjoys gardening and flowers.

The couple attends Portersville Bible Church in Portersville.
