Elizabeth Lintz

Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Lintz, 82, of Beaver, formerly of Burgettstown, Washington County, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday after a long illness.

Born April 10, 1925, in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of Virgil D. and Lucy Posten Mack and was raised in Zelienople.

Mrs. Lintz was a member of Florence Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, Robert W. Lintz, whom she married Dec. 7, 1943, died in 1985.

Surviving are a son, Robert "Mike" Lintz and his partner, Shirley Spotti, of Slovan, Washington County; two daughters, Sharon Lintz of Beaver and Peggy Lintz Painter of Zelienople; a sister, Margaret Hosterman of Fairfax, Va.; three grandchildren, Sean M. Lintz and his wife, Elizabeth, of Naples, Fla., Amy Lintz Manville and her husband, William, and Matthew Lintz and his wife, Hope, of Flatwood, Ky.; a stepgrandson, Charles Spotti of Slovan; three great-grandchildren, Hailey Lintz and Willow and Chloe Manville; two sisters-in-law, Betty Lintz of Fombell and Betty Fulcomer, wife of Alvin, of Zelienople; and two brothers-in-law, Leroy Lintz, husband of Libby, of Summerfield, N.C., and Lawrence Lintz, husband of Susie, of Calabash, N.C.

<B>LINTZ</B> — Friends of Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Lintz, who died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Taucher Funeral Home</B>, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Ekas officiating. Other arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
