3 injured in 2 accidents

Middlesex Township Police officer Randy Davison keeps an eye on Route 8 traffic as water pours from a tanker hauling pool water Tuesday after it left the southbound lanes on McBride Hill in Penn Township, hit an embankment and tipped over about 11:30 a.m. Trent Fox, 39, of Cabot, who was driving the truck, was not injured.

Herman firefighters climb a steep hill Tuesday at the scene of a one-car accident along Geibel Road in Summit Township. Three people were injured in the crash about 11:55 a.m. The driver of the Dodge Neon, Kayla Bedell, no age or address given, was northbound when she lost control of the car, which went down a 12-foot hill, said Dave Barry, Herman Volunteer Fire Company assistant chief. Bedell and two passengers were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries not considered serious. Astate police report was not available this morning.
