Frieda Galkow Davis, 62, of Zelienople died Wednesday at the Sunnyview Home after a long illness.

Born Dec. 21, 1945, in Rothenstadt-Wieden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wasily and Margaret Miller Galkow.

She had been a housekeeper at the Passavant Retirement Community.

Surviving are a son, Dennis Davis of Zelienople; two sisters, Mrs. Marita Kelosky of Ellwood City and Mrs. Margie Kelly of Evans City; five nieces; and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Anderson.
