P. Victoria Reber

P. Victoria "Vickie" Reber, 97, of Grove City, formerly of Hilliards, died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City.

Born March 17, 1910, in the Bradys Bend-Kaylor area, she was the daughter of Frank and Antoinette Garbich Habe.

She was a cook for more than 30 years at Slippery Rock University.

She was a member of the Boyers United Methodist Church and the church's Women's Society. Mrs. Reber was also a member of the West Sunbury Rebekah Lodge, the Slippery Rock AARP and the Tanglewood Senior Center.

She enjoyed bowling and square dancing.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Hogg of Murrietta, Calif., and Mrs. Thresa Hilgar of Florissant, Mo.; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Reber, who died Nov. 26, 1977; one daughter, Helen, who died Sept. 4, 1950; four sisters, and two brothers.

<B>REBER</B> — Friends of P. Victoria "Vickie" Reber, who died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Services will follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen Soltis, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery.
