Anna M. White
Anna M. White, 85, of Freeport Road died Wednesday at the Chicora Medical Center.
Born March 10, 1922, in Butler, she was a daughter of Jacob J. Grant and Anna Marie Swartz Grant Roeper.
She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother, and she was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
Surviving are three sons and their wives, Larry G. and Vicki White of Butler, Daniel P. and Linda White of Woodbury, N.J., and Bruce and Jean White of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Johnson of Smithsburg, Md., and Mrs. Marion McMillen of Butler; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, George P. White, died Feb. 14, 1977. A son, Robert G. White, and a sister, Mae Flick, also preceded her in death.
<B>WHITE </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Anna M. White, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. The Rev. Gary Stakem, OFM Cap., will officiate.
