David R. Denny

David R. Denny, 63, of Butler died Thursday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born May 1, 1944, in Cabot, he was the son of the late Harry W. and Elsie Michel Denny.

He was an Air Force veteran.

Mr. Denny was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and also belonged to the Faith Alive Prayer Group.

He liked gardening, traveling and camping.

Surviving are five siblings and their spouses, Velma and Jim McCrea, Raymond and Evelyn Denny, Ronald and Peg Denny and Alice and Steve Blatt, all of Fenelton, and Judy and Ray Oesterling of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A brother, Harry "Pete" Denny of Kittanning, preceded him in death.

<B>DENNY</B> — Friends of David R. Denny, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B>, Worthington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Herman, with the Rev. John McCloskey officiating.
