Pryor

M. Jean Pryor, 65, of Butler died Wednesday at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Florida after a brief illness.

Born July 1, 1942, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Edith Dillaman Arblaster of Prospect and the late Jeff Arblaster.

Mrs. Pryor was an avid and competitive golfer, belonging to and acting as president, treasurer and secretary of multiple golf leagues in Butler. She was a member of the Grasshoppers on Monday, Sunrise Golf League at Stoughton's on Tuesday, Lake Arthur Ladies on Wednesday and the couples league at Stoughton's on Friday.

She had been a seamstress for the Slippery Rock High School musicals and marching band and the Slippery Rock Youth Football Program. She was also a former president of the Mother's Club of the Prospect Girls and Boys Club.

She loved playing bingo. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Robert D. Pryor of Butler; her mother; two daughters, Robin Walters of Slippery Rock and Wendy Pryor Warburton of West Sunbury; one son, Fred and his wife, Jackie, Pryor of Slippery Rock; grandchildren, Brittany and Ty Pryor, Andrew, Austin, and Adam Walters, and Chloe, Rocky, Dodger, Sammy and Rosie; three brothers, Laverne and Doris Dillaman of Lecanta, Fla., Joseph and Denise Arblaster of Grove City and Skip and Sue Arblaster of Prospect.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her one-year-old son, Robert Dale Pryor, Jr.

<B>PRYOR — </B>Friends of M. Jean Pryor, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at <B>YOUNG FUNERAL HOME</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Jim Lewis of the West Liberty Methodist Church officiating.
