Mangola leads Raiders' 15-hit parade

Butler's Matt Slamecka beat Knoch's Jake Rupert 6-0, 6-0 in the Golden Tornado's 5-0 win over the Knights. Tuesday.

Jackie Mangola led Seneca Valley's 15-hit attack with a double and a home run as the Raiders softball team beat Fox Chapel 13-3 in six innings Tuesday.

Dana Hughes added a single and a triple for SV.

The Raiders (3-0, 2-0) received a strong performance from Courtney Grootegoed, who struck out six and gave up one hit in five innings.

In other action:

• Jenna Geibel and Karen Cumberledge each doubled, but Butler fell 3-1 at North Allegheny.
