BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENEMillie Martsolf and Vonda Mishler will present the special music for the Sunday worship service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. Guest speaker for the 10:45 a.m. worship and 6 p.m. service will be the Rev. Ron Reagle from Franklin.Rev. Don Chamberlain will speak at the 7 p.m. Wednesday worship.

COMMUNITY LIFEThis week's topic at Community Life Church, which holds services at 10:15 a.m. weekly at McQuistion Elementary School, is part three of the Blood Covenant series, "Rights and Privileges."Pasta and spaghetti sauce is being collected this month for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Cupboard.The Wednesday series, "Drawing Near" by John Bevere, will continue at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the YWCA.

CONVENANT PRESBYThe Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated during the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.The Covenant Cupboard Food Bank is requesting donations of peanut butter or jelly for the month of April. Baskets to receive the donations are located in the front entrance hallway on Jefferson Street.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERANAn evening service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.A historical luncheon, to learn more about the congregation, will be held at noon Sunday in the Social Room. Lunch will be provided.

FIRST U.M.First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will host a new member orientation at 7 p.m. Monday. New members will then join the church at the 10:50 a.m. service on April 13.A new Uniquely You three-week elective will begin at 7 p.m. Monday.

GRACEWAY COMMUNITYGraceWay Community Church, which worships at 10 a.m. at Center Township Elementary School, will host special music by Beth Yost and Ruth Ferko.A new adult Bible study is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at King's Family Restaurant, New Castle Road. HILL U.P.The Lord's Supper will be celebrated at weekend services of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.A new quilter's group will begin tomorrow in the fellowship hall from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Participants should take a needle, thimble and pair of scissors. Fred Young will begin at 7 p.m. and focus on Psalm 16.Baked goods for the Meals on Wheels project will be received Saturday and Sunday. HOLY TRINITY LUTHERANThe Thiel Handbell Choir will present a free concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora. The concert is open to the public at no charge.

MERIDIAN U.P.Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., will hold a mission prayer breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.The Rev. James Mohr, office of the chaplain and church relations at New Wilmington, will be the guest minster for the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.

MT. CHESTNUT PRESBYCommunion will conclude the morning worships Sunday at Mt. Jefferson St., can explore the Book of Acts in preparation for Pentecost. Those attending will be encouraged to read one chapter of Acts each day during the month of April, when they will trace Paul's journeys and the growth of the Christian Church. ZION U.M.Church and Society at Zion United Methodist Church, Bear Creek Road, Sarver, is collecting canned vegetables and cleaning supplies Sunday through April 13 for the Cabot Food Bank. The box is in the narthex.Newborn items are still being collected for the Slippery Rock Pregnancy Center. Premature infant layette items are especially needed.
