Patricia A. Kraus Eckenrode, 63, of Evans City died Friday evening at UPMC Passavant.

Born Nov. 20, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Leona Reitlinger Kraus of Evans City and the late George Kraus.

She had retired from the Austins Co. after 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eckenrode, on Feb. 18, 2007, and a son, Edward Rearick.

She is survived by her mother; a daughter, Theresa Rearick of Michigan; two brothers, Richard Kraus of Evans City and Dennis Kraus of Allison Park; three grandchildren, Danielle Rearick of Evans City, and twins, Shannon and Emily, who made their home with her; and three great-grandchildren.

<B>ECKENRODE</B> — Friends of Patricia A. Kraus Eckenrode, who died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W.
