Joyce Brenneman Rotnour, 70, of New Castle, formerly of Slippery Rock, died at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle.

Born in Portersville, April 4, 1937, she was a daughter of James E. and Mary Floye Young Brenneman.

She had been a waitress, and was a member of the Mountville Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Greenway of Warsaw, Mo., and Stacy Duffee of New Castle; a son, Craig A. Rice of Old Town, Maine; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond E. Rice; her second husband, Robert L. Rotnour; an infant son; and a sister, Lois Brenneman.

<B>ROTNOUR </B>— Friends of Joyce Brenneman Rotnour, who died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis, of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Mountville Cemetery, Perry Township, Lawrence County.
