Susan Hamilton
Susan Hamilton, 88, of Sugar Creek Rest, formerly of East Brady, died at 3 a.m. Friday in Sugar Creek Rest following a lingering illness.
Born June 8, 1919, at Cove Run, East Brady, she was the daughter of Thomas B. and Bertha M. Crawford Hamilton.
She was retired from Agway in East Butler after years of service.
She attended the Trinity Church of Bradys Bend for years.
She is survived by three granddaughters, Susan Evans and her husband, Robert, of Chicora, Kelly Passara and her husband, Stephen, of Butler, and Tammy Courson and husband, Todd, of Slippery Rock; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Seybert and her husband, Norman, of Rimersburg, Doris Lee and her husband, Donald, of Parker, Creda Hornberger and her husband, Glenn, of Cowansville; three brothers, Samuel Hamilton and his wife, Delores, of Butler, Thomas Hamilton and his wife, Eleanore, of Florida, and Robert Hamilton of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
<B>HAMILTON</B> — Friends of Susan Hamilton, who died Friday, March 7, 2008, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at <B>STEIGHNERFUNERAL HOME,</B> 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter Sapp, pastor of Trinity Church, Bradys Bend, officiating. Burial will be in Bradys Bend Cemetery, East Brady.
