Duane T. Jones Jr.

Duane Thomas Jones Jr., 46, of Tionesta and of Renfrew, died Friday at Clarion Hospital.

Born March 12, 1961, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Duane and Ethel Pryor Jones of Tionesta and Renfrew.

He was retired after serving 17 years in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman Club and the Clarion County Rod and Gun. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed camping.

Jones is survived by his parents; four daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Crystal) Carnahan of Harrisville, Nicole Jones of Dayton, and Heather and Cindy Jones, both of Dayton; two sons, Duane Thomas Jones III of Butler and Andrew Jones serving in the U.S. military; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Jones of Renfrew, Boyce and Jackie Jones of Emlenton and Paul and Helen Jones of Renfrew; three sisters, Mrs. Graham (Diane) Miller of Ohio, Mrs. Gary (Evelyn) Cumberland of Butler, and Karen Sue Pittman of Tionesta; paternal grandmother, Sarah Jones Ketterer of Zelienople; two aunts and two uncles, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

<B>JONES</B> — Friends of Duane Thomas Jones Jr., who died Friday, March 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>EDWARDL. RASELY FUNERALHOME</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Coul, pastor of The Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Leeper, Pa., officiating.A veteran service will be conducted by the VFW and the American Legion Post 248 of Butler.
