Scott Ford is deployed as a member of Task Force Marne, one of more than 20,000 soldiers from the Fort Stewart, Ga.-based 3rd Infantry Division and elements of the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Ky.The soldier is serving a 15-month tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.Ford, an operational law chief officer, is assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division. His home station is Fort Stewart. He has served in the military for nine years.The 1995 Mars High School alumnus, is the son of Richard and Theresa Ford of Mars.He received a bachelor's degree in 1999 from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N. Y., and earned a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.
