Virginia A. Fallecker
Virginia A. Fallecker, 59, of Butler died Tuesday morning at Sunnyview Home after an extended illness.
Born in Donegal Township, Sept. 30, 1948, she was the daughter of Cletus and Marcella "Betty" Young Fallecker.
A 1966 graduate of Karns City High School, she also graduated from the U.S. Air flight attendant training school and traveled as a flight attendant for U.S. Air from 1972 through 1985. She loved to travel and had traveled worldwide.
She also enjoyed playing cards, golf and shopping. Virginia was talented in designing and creating her own clothing.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Anne Elizabeth Douglas of Wexford; her parents; two sisters, Marlene (Bernard) Steighner of Fredricksburg, Va., and Brenda (Lenny) Vensel of Chicora; a special sister-in-law, Shirley Fallecker Shurtleff, and her husband Robert; eight nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Butler area.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard C. Fallecker, who died in 1978, and Russell J. Fallecker, who died in 1999.

Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 128 N.
