Viola M. Blauser
Viola M. Blauser, 92, of Squaw Valley Road, Parker, Allegheny Township, died at 8:35 a.m. Monday at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington.
Born in Eau Claire, Aug. 23, 1915, she was the daughter of Harry "Hal" and Liza Jane Johnson Stalker.
She had served as tax collector in Allegheny Township and was retired from the custodial staff at Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg. She also was a homemaker.
Mrs. Blauser immensely enjoyed helping others, often wanting to remain anonymous.
She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton.
Surviving are three sons and their wives, Clifford Edward Blauser and his wife, Sandra L., of Parker; Frank D. Blauser and his wife, Nancy, of Foxburg and David L. Blauser and his wife, Donna, of Parker; seven grandchildren, Randy J. Blauser and his wife, Debbie, of Greenville, C.J. Edward Blauser and his wife, Renae, of Parker, Deanna Lee Colwell and her husband, Glenn, of Hickory, N.C., Kelly Blauser of Butler, Denise L. Anderson and her husband, Mark, of Nebraska, Darrell B. Blauser and his wife, Michelle, of Parker, and Dorene K. Boudreau and her husband, Paul, of New Hampshire; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Clifford J. Blauser, who she married June 14, 1933, in New York, died June 28, 1964. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee and Homer Stalker; and two sisters, Helen Gibbons and Myrtle Flemming.
<B>BLAUSER </B>— Friends of Viola M. Blauser, who died Monday, April 21, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at <B>Hile Funeral Home</B>, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Carpenter, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Allegheny Cemetery, Allegheny Township.
