Sholes

Mary C. Sholes, 85, of North Duffy Road, died at 4 a.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 9, 1922, in Butler, she was the daughter of John and Mary Papanek Dojcansky.

Mrs. Sholes was a homemaker and had also worked as an inspector at the Spaide Shirt Factory. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, and the E.C.W. Club of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Sholes is survived by a daughter, Nadine Wise of Butler; two sons, Jason Sholes of Slippery Rock and Brian K. Sholes of Butler; six grandchildren, a great-grandson; three nephews; and a sister, Margaret Wampler of Butler.

Mrs. Sholes was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Sholes, on March 1, 1993; and also by a sister and a brother.
