Hazel V. White, 88, of Harmony died Friday at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.

Born Aug. 28, 1919, in Middle Lancaster, she was the daughter of Frederick and Mamie Schontz Schott.

Mrs. White was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Middle Lancaster.

She is survived by two sons, Robert E. White of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Gary M. White of Muddy Creek Township; two daughters, Kathy Miller of Zelienople and Bonnie Lane of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Betty Shidemantle of Harmony; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. White; her longtime companion, David Gibson; five brothers, and five sisters.
