Helen 'Lucy' Domhoff
Helen "Lucy" Domhoff, 76, of Butler died Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born Feb. 7, 1932, in Butler, she was the daughter of Clarence and Lillian Hockenberry Fry.
Lucy was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she remained active in her faith and volunteering until recent months.
She had retired from the school patrol in Butler after many years.
Her life was rich with friends, both local and nationwide, as she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family over the years. She also enjoyed bowling and homemaking.
She was a pillar of strength with grace and kindness for all.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Lester P. Domhoff Jr.; two daughters, Ginger and Timothy Rowan of Mars and Terri Patten and Ken Venmar of Butler; a son, David Domhoff and Nicole Boyle and son, Tim, of Queensbury, N. Y.; two grandchildren, Justin Rowan of Shadyside and Lesley Rowan of Asheville, N.C.; a sister, Bernice and Phillip Radwanski of Butler; two brothers, Richard Fry and Harry and Judy Fry, all of Butler; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
