Schiraldi

Martin J. Schiraldi, 66, of Benninger Lane died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday at his home.

Born July 16, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Martin and Juanita Savon Schiraldi.

Mr. Schiraldi was an Air Force veteran. He worked in the maintenance department at Ron Joy Nursing Home in Boardman, Ohio, for 20 years. He then worked for Oberg Industries and retired in 2007.

Mr. Schiraldi was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of the Mahoning Township Volunteer Fire Department in Edinburg, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara McKnight Schiraldi, who he married Sept. 26, 1998; a son, Marty Schiraldi of Wampum; two daughters and their husbands, Tina and Daryl Harding and Jessica and Andrew Shanor, all of New Castle; a stepson and his wife, Derek and Dayna Roskovski of Butler; five grandchildren; a brother and his wife, John and Joyce Schiraldi of Hubbard, Ohio; two sisters, Barbara Brady and Carol Rogusky, both of Edinburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>SCHIRALDI</B> — Friends of Martin J. Schiraldi, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
