Philip 'Bud' Lebanno

Philip "Bud" Lebanno, 61, of Manning, S.C., died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday after an extended illness.

He was born in Wilmerding, Aug. 4, 1946, the son of the late Philip and Marie Lebanno.

He was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School.

Mr. Lebanno lived in Slippery Rock for 21 years and was a well-known custom home builder.

He enjoyed wood carving, sketching, painting and boating.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Mihalek Lebanno; five children, Denise (Terry) Stell of North Braddock, Renee (Richard) Vollbrecht of Oak Hill, Va., Philip (Tricia) Lebanno and Michael (Laura) Lebanno, both of Clover, S.C., and Juliette Lyon of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Nicklas and Nadia Vollbrecht, Isabella, Philip and Marissa Lebanno and Miranda and Abigail Lyon; and siblings William Lebanno, Marilyn Sorge and Arlene Morosko.

<B>LEBANNO</B> — A private memorial service for Philip "Bud" Lebanno, who died Thursday, May 8, 2008, was May 11 in Manning, S.C.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or United Hospice, 609 S. Coit St., Florence, S.C. 29501.
