Dennis Eugene Lavery Jr., 35, of Goose Creek, S.C., died on the morning of April 26 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Berkeley County, S.C. His wife, Teri, died in the same accident.

Dennis was born May 20, 1972, in Freeport, the son of Dennis E. Lavery Sr. of North Charleston, S.C., and Linda Sue Glenn Rodriguez of Sarver.

He graduated from Freeport High School in 1990. He was a member of the football and track teams. He was an Army veteran and self-employed owner and operator of Henry's Trucking.

An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of the Harley Owners Group, and he was a coach for the Goose Creek Recreation League. He was a member of the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge 401. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and dirt track racing.In addition to his mother and father, Dennis is survived by two sons, Craig Aarron Holley and Zachery Kyle Eugene Lavery; and one daughter, Stacy Amanda Holley, all of Goose Creek. Also surviving are his stepmother, Donna Pritchard Lavery of North Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, Michael Ray Rodriguez of Saxonburg, and Josh Alan Lavery and Sean Paul Lavery, both of North Charleston, S.C.; one sister, Sara Alicia Windows of Tarentum; and grandparents, Elmer T. Glenn of Sarver, and Ernest and Lynette Pichard of North Charleston, S.C.

<B>LAVERY</B> — A memorial service for Dennis Eugene Lavery, who died Saturday, April 26, 2008, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Evangel Heights Assembly of God Church, 120 Beale Road, Freeport. Friends and family will be received before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.Arrangements are by <B>Redmond Funeral Home Inc</B>., 524 High St., Freeport.A memorial fund has been arranged for Dennis and Teri's youngest son.
