12:53 a.m. Wednesday — Adam Beggs, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422.

4:05 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Jacalyn Brison, 54, of Renfrew crashed into a ditch along Shannon Road near Donahue Drive in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Brison was cited for a lane violation.11:40 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Clair L. Greenway III, 31, of Slippery Rock crashed into a pair of cars parked on Main Street near High Street in Slippery Rock. Police said Greenway was cited for careless driving.

3:26 a.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Adam J. Edmonds 21, of Parker struck a steel pole and crashed down an embankment along Route 58 near Mill Street in St. Petersburg.Sunday — Jessica Myers reported that her purse was stolen from a car parked at her Kissinger Mills Road home in Madison Township. The theft occurred between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Monday — Someone between 11 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. deliberately set fire to a 2007 Dodge truck parked at a Beckett Road home in North Buffalo Township. Police said the arsonist lit the truck's interior compartment, causing an estimated $10,400 damage. Donald Frye of Kittanning owns the truck.7:43 p.m. Sunday — Two people were hurt when their sport utility vehicle crashed and rolled over twice on Route 28 about a mile north of Exit 17 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.The driver, a16-year-old Freeport girl who police did not identify, and a passenger, Edward McNeel, 20, of Freeport, suffered minor injuries.Saturday — Someone between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. passed a counterfeit $20 bill at a concession stand during a baseball game at the North/South Buffalo Baseball Association field on Furnace Road in South Buffalo Township.11 p.m. Friday — An unidentified vehicle struck a white fence along Main Street in South Buffalo Township, and did not stop after the crash.
