William M. Hankey
William M. Hankey, 71, of Butler died Saturday at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Oct. 25, 1936, in Butler, the son of Harry Wilmer Hankey and Mary Sanderson Hankey.
He was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, camping and loved spending time with his family. He retired in 1995 after 38 years of service in the stainless processing department at Armco Steel.
Surviving are his wife, Judith A. Fishel Hankey, who he married May 25, 1957; two daughters, Kimberly Scott and her husband, Richard, of Butler and Tammy Green and her husband, Bruce, of Butler; a son, William K. Hankey and his fiancee, Cindy Graham, of Butler; seven grandchildren, Brianne and Lindsay Hankey, Matthew and Stacy Scott, Kelly Scott Oesterling, Kristen Green Renwick and Nicholas Green; a great-grandchild, Jocelyn Oesterling; a sister, Verda Connor and her husband, Peter, of Butler, and a brother, Kenneth Hankey and his wife, Peggy, of Butler.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Hankey; two brothers and a sister.
<B>HANKEY</B> — Friends of William M.Hankey, who died Saturday, May 24, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>YOUNGFUNERALHOME</B>, Butler.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, 206 N.
