Anton E. Rauch Jr.

Anton E. Rauch Jr., 30, of Butler died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday as the result of an auto accident in Buffalo Township.

He was born Sept. 13, 1977, in Pittsburgh, the son of Anton E. Rauch Sr. of Arizona and Rose Oslick Odem of Plum.

A1996 graduate of Plum High School, he received his bachelor's degree from Gannon University in 2001 and his master's degree in community counseling from Duquesne University in 2007.

He was a counselor at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He loved his dog, Bella and his cat, Callie, playing golf and watching or attending all Pittsburgh sporting events.

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer L. Schollaert Rauch of Butler; who he married June 24, 2006; his mother and father, Rose and Keith Odem of Plum; his in-laws, William and Ellen Schollaert of Butler; a sister, Tara Rauch of Alexandra, Va.; and two brothers-in-law and their spouses, William and Jessica Schollaert and Bryan and Angela Schollaert, all of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

<B>RAUCH</B> — Friends of Anton E. Rauch Jr., who died Saturday, May 31, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with his uncle, the Rev. Fredrick Cain, of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Bridgeville, officiating.
