Dennis B. Mitchell
Dennis B. Mitchell, 51, of Valencia died Sunday afternoon from injuries he received in an accident on Route 228 in Adams Township while he was participating in a motorcycle charity poker run.
Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 28, 1957, he was the son of the late William B. and Joy Kline Mitchell.
He worked for Union Local 2 in Pittsburgh as an asbestos worker.
He was a social member of the Mars Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7505. He was an avid biker and loved his Harley Davidsons. He also was a member of the H.O.G.S. Motorcycle Club.
Surviving are his wife, Linda L. Conklin Mitchell, who he married Aug. 25, 1997; a stepson, Raymond Burry of Valencia; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Shawn (Bonnie)Aubrecht in Alaska; a brother, Steven "Stump"Mitchell (Gwen)in Florida; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Mars VFW, Mars-Valencia Road, Mars, at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Peter DeVries, pastor of Old Union Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
