Larry Lee Himes
Larry Lee Himes, 67, of Cabot died Monday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
He fought a good fight, he finished his course and he kept the faith.
Born Nov. 13, 1940, in Cabot, he was the son of Rush G. and Mildred Sims Himes.
He was a maintenance man at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg for 37 years and also had a small excavating business.
Mr. Himes was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Center in Sarver.
He enjoyed car racing, NASCAR and tractor pulls.
He was a devoted husband.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Conroy Himes, who he married March 18, 1963; three nephews; two nieces; and several cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers, Ronald, Gerald and Gary Himes.
<B>HIMES</B> — Friends of Larry Lee Himes, who died Monday, June 2, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Shick officiating.
