John E. Stewart
John E. Stewart, 73, of Evans City, formerly of Butler, died Saturday evening at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born in Butler, Sept. 19, 1934, he was the son of George W. and Alberta Truby Stewart.
He was a retired yard master at Armco-Butler Works, where he worked for 33 years.
Mr. Stewart was a Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 117.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie L. West Stewart; three sons, John J., James P. and Scott M. Stewart, all of Butler; two daughters, Vicki A. Reidenbach of Evans City, with whom he made his home, and Robyn Stewart of Butler; and two grandchildren, John Paul Stewart of Herman and Heather Stewart of South Carolina
He was preceded in death by two sons, Marcel and Eric Stewart; and three brothers, George W., Charles A. and Richard Stewart.

Stewart, who died Saturday, June 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
