David Darl Link, 74, of Worth Township died Tuesday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Born April 12, 1934, in Worth Township, he was the son of Henry and Mary McDeavitt Link.

He was an Army veteran.

Mr. Link was a heavy equipment operator and did blasting.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Carpenter Link, who he married Feb. 27, 1961; and his children, Shirley Link of Butler, John (Dawn) Link of West Sunbury, Diane (Ed) Clark of Chicora, Tammy (Brice) Shaffer of Butler, Karen (Dave) Feather of Grove City, Gloria (Jud) Ihlenfeld of West Sunbury and Amanda Link of Portersville. He also is survived by 11 grandchildren, a great-grandson, four brothers, four sisters and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

<B>LINK</B> — A private family visitation for David Darl Link, who died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect.
