Evadene Scott, 83, of Evans City died Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born June 4, 1925, in Lincoln, Neb., she was the daughter of James and Anna Grace Sperling Sherman.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the Crestview Community Church in Callery and the 60 Plus group in Evans City. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed traveling and camping.

She is survived by two sons, Roger Scott and his wife, Cindy, of Slippery Rock and Dennis Scott and his wife, Melissa, of Florida; two granddaughters, Shelby and Melissa; and a great-grandson, Tanner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Scott, who died June 28, 2000; and a sister, Leta Mae Horne.
