Joseph W. Ow Jr., 64, of Valencia died Tuesday morning at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, April 8, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Claire E. Stuabitz Ow Sr.

He was a deputy waterway conservation officer for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission for 27 years. He was Deputy of the Year in 2007.

Surviving are his wife, Linda M. Miller Ow, whom he married Oct. 16, 1963; two sons, Joseph E. Ow (Marie) of Mars and William Michael Ow, (Jennifer) of Valencia; a daughter, Christine Perkins of Mars; grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Melisa, Joann, Joseph, Julia, Tabitha, Samantha, Racheal and the late Daniele; and his dog, Greta.
