Mulneix

Mrs. Mable E. Mulneix, 75, of St. Paul Homes, West Salem Township, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Horizon, Greenville Campus, following an extended illness.

Mable was born in Butler on Jan. 24, 1933, the daughter of the late James L.W. and Emily Cottrill Fend. She spent her entire life in Butler before moving to St. Paul Homes, where she lived for the past year.

She was a 1952 graduate of Butler High School and attended worship services at St. Paul Homes.

She was a homemaker and was a loving and giving person with a big heart and loved taking care of other people, especially all of her friends at St. Paul's. She also loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed bird watching, reading, doing puzzles and playing bingo.

She was the widow of C. Raymond Mulneix. They were married May 14, 1955, and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1980.

She is survived by two daughters, Hope Doran and her husband, Michael, of Butler and Monica Carlino and her husband, Jeffrey, of Millvale; and four sisters, Mary Lou Davis and her husband, John, Pearl Osche, Alice Day and her husband, John, and Thelda Geible and her husband, Conrad, all of Butler. She also is survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, James, Charles, John, Robert, Donald, Kenneth and Ralph Fend; and one son, Robert R. Mulneix, who died July 3, 2007.

Mulneix, who died Sunday, June 29, 2008, will be received 1 to 3 p.m. today at <B>Osborne-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Services</B>, 73-75 Columbia Ave., Greenville.The funeral and committal services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Linda Miller-Pretz, Chaplain at St. Paul Homes, officiating. Burial will follow at Shenango Valley Cemetery in Greenville.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Homes Memorial Fund, Willows B, 339 E.
