James E. Howard
James E. Howard, 53, of Hilliards died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1955, in Grove City, he was the son of the late Ronald E. and Marion Jacobs Howard.
He was a Protestant.
He worked for Pullman Standard from 1975 to 1976. He also worked for years at Glacial Mineral in Clarion. James worked with Rosebud Mining in Kittanning for several years before joining Quality Aggregates in Boyers as a heavy equipment operator. He had been with Quality Aggregates since 2000.
In addition to enjoying his work with heavy equipment, James enjoyed flea markets and tinkering with all types of machinery. He was a social member of the VFW in Parker.
James is survived by his fiancee, Jeanne Fierst; two daughters, Kelly D. Howard of Emlenton and Kimberly A. Brewer and her husband, Brian, of Emlenton; five sisters, LuAnn Mattern and her husband, LaVern, of Knox, Linda Francisco and her husband, Mike, of Richland, N.C., Laurie Howard and her special friend, Robert King, of Knox, Lisa Howard of Harrisville and Brenda Finegold and her husband, Greg; two brothers, Richard Howard and his wife, Sheila, of Butler and William Howard and his wife, Ruth, of Emlenton; one grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
<B>HOWARD </B>— Friends of James E. Howard, who died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Main Street, Eau Claire. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
