Richard J. "Rick" Ralcewicz, 45, of Stowe Road, Parker, Allegheny Township, Butler County, died at 3 a.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Ralcewicz was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 6, 1962. He was the son of Mildred E. Jancura Ralcewicz of Shaler and the late Joseph J. Ralcewicz.

Mr. Ralcewicz was a 1980 graduate of Shaler High School. He was a supervisor and a class one lead worker for the Laidlaw Transit Co. in Shaler.

Mr. Ralcewicz enjoyed fishing and listening to bluegrass and country music. He also enjoyed the company of his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne L. Kocher Ralcewicz, who he married in Indiana Township on July 26, 1986. Also surviving are three children, Timothy J. Lang and his wife, Brandie, of Parker, Amanda L. Ralcewicz and her fiance, Brett McHenry, of Emlenton and Melissa J. Ralcewicz, at home; two grandchildren, Taylor J. Lang and Gabrielle D. Lang of Parker; two brothers, Joseph J. Ralcewicz Jr. of Midlothian, Va., and Robert J. Ralcewicz, of Wampum, Pa.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Ralcewicz was preceded in death by his father on March 1, 1996.

<B>RALCEWICZ — </B>A private memorial service for Richard J. "Rick" Ralcewicz, who died Friday, July 4, 2008, will be held later.
