Fireworks light up the sky over the National Stadium in Beijing during the opening ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympics on Saturday. Taped coverage of the opening ceremony, including the parade of nations and the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron, will begin at 7:30 p.m. today on Channel 11.
