Hart

Gloria M. Lapierre Hart, 61, of Butler passed away at 4:30 a.m. Monday at her residence following a short illness.

Born Oct. 2, 1946, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Leo Joseph and Florence Winnifred May Lapierre.

She was a member of the Community Alliance Church.

Mrs. Hart was a graduate of Carlow College and retired from Pepsi Cola. She also taught aquatics at the Butler County Family YMCA and was an avid quilter.

She is survived by her husband, William Lewis Hart, whom she married Nov. 14, 1970; a daughter, Dr. Barbra Karner and her husband, Timothy, of Butler; a son, Steven W. Hart of Aliquippa; three grandchildren, Joshua, Peyton and Tyler Karner; three sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Jeanette) Gagnon of Cornwall, Ontario, Brenda Lapierre of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Mrs. Hugh (Patricia) Boyd of Lindsay, Ontario; and a brother, Paul Lapierre of Toronto, Ontario.

<B>HART</B> — Friends of Gloria M. Lapierre Hart, who died Monday, July 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Community Alliance Church with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic officiating.
